Established in 1929 by the Clark Brothers, Genesee has a long history in the Seattle region. We have the excellent honor and pleasure of being the third generation of the Clark family to operate Genesee Fuel and Heating Company. The authentic Clarks were adamant about a few simple values: dedication to shoppers, standard workmanship and constant learning. While doing business now is a bit more complicated than it was for my grandfather in 1929, these same values are the core of our company approach now. Genesee is committed to maintain the values that Gordon and Russell Clark initiated over 80 years ago.

Our services range from heating oil delivery, to oil, electrical, and gas furnace service and installation, heat pumps, hot water heaters, air conditioner service and installation, and propane tank leases and propane delivery. We furthermore install air filtration systems which remove pollen and dust to help keep your home air standard as clean as can be. We deliver premium level home heating oil, BioHeat, and propane.

Your thermostat has a sensor that measures room temperature. When the temperature drops below your thermostat setting (or you raise the level above the room temperature), it sends a signal to the controls on your burner to get into action.A fuel pump draws oil through a filter (5) to your burner. It turns this oil into a fine spray, mixes it with air and ignites it in the combustion chamber (6), causing the chamber to get very hot.
